![]() Could I get someone here to PM me please? Thanks! It appears there's a way to have Comcast come out and verify my home's wiring and that all is well with my setup. That setup works just fine, either with the old ECB2500s or the MM1000s plugged in (i.e., the X1's MoCA isn't being affected by my MoCA boxes, whether or not my setup works or not). I have Comcast for Internet and X1 cable service, with a DVR and three "dumb" boxes. I've tried several channel setups ("Band D High", which works for a while before dropping out, and "Band D Extended", which can't even be seen downstairs).įor 4 years I had a pair of Actiontec ECB2500s running on two of the exact same jacks that now don't work at all with the MM1000s, even if I force the MM1000s to work in MoCA 1.1 mode (and don't even connect the 3rd MM1000). If I connect them together with a few 6-ft coaxes via a 3-way splitter to test them, they all communicate just fine- but once I add them to my home Coax, they either can't see each other, or they'll connect then disconnect some time later. I've bought three Motorola MM1000 MoCA 2.0 adapters (which are functionally like Actiontec ECB6200s) and a bunch of 2GHz splitters.
